Catching Up

After my last post, I haven't really been in the mood to blog. I've just been feeling pretty...blah. I did, however, have the opportunity to be in charge of promotions for work this weekend and LOVED it! I think my boss would beg to differ from the ungodly amount of texts I sent her throughout the weekend. Once I got past the realization that it's really okay when things don't always go as planned, I enjoyed it.
I took a break from work on Saturday evening, and my sister Amy sent Michael and I on a much needed date (for helping them get their house in order before they moved back to Texas). We very rarely go anywhere without Harper, so it was nice to be alone for once. We dropped Harper off at my sister's house and went to Triple J Chophouse and Brew Co for dinner. We were planning on seeing a movie as well, but they didn't start until 10pm or after. That's too late for these old people. :) We ended up just picking Harper up and going home to bed. It was still nice to get away for a little bit, at least!

These are some pictures off my phone that I have been meaning to post.

Birdie!
Sarah Jane came over while Amy and Andy took Charlie to a movie. These girls definitely know how to make a mess.

Pretty proud of herself!

Her hair looked really cute :)
Harper found this pair of boots in her closet that I bought a while back from Old Navy for $.97. She's so funny sometimes.
I asked her to pose for a picture, and this is what I got.

I have been having problems with my gallbladder last week. That didn't do much good for the mood I was in already. I had an ultrasound done last week that showed gall stones. I go in on Tuesday for a HIDA scan. I wish they would just take it out. I don't want to go through the surgery, but I'm ready to be done with the annoying pain and acid reflux issues. Hopefully I will get some much needed answers after the scan.
