National Ranching Heritage Center

I was supposed to work most of the day, but I ended up having a longer break between shifts. There were a lot of events going on around town, but we decided to stop by the Kids' Fun Fair at the Science Spectrum, dropped by the Petsmart adoption event, ate at Spanky's, and then made a final stop at the Texas Tech National Ranching Heritage Center for Ranch Day! They had a ton of fun activities for the kids. Harper was too little for most of it, but she did come home with a pretty sweet stick horse. I also got some really good pictures!

She was a bit too little for the real horse rides. :)
Daddy threw her in the hay. She wasn't impressed.
I absolutely LOVE this one.
She came up with her own poses. What a nut.

Daddy took this while I made her stick horse. Then she ripped the horse's eyes off. Sad day.

The Purple Wall

Harper had been having some pooping issues (surprise, surprise) the past couple of days, and she decided to pair that with a fever yesterday. We stayed home today just to make sure she was okay. She hadn't had any dirty diapers all morning, so we headed out to the store since we were out of milk. I usually have my camera with me, so we stopped by a purple wall that was all the way downtown on the way. :)

She looks so sweet in these pictures that I almost (...almost) forgot about her "terrible two's" moments she had today. I don't know WHERE she gets her stubbornness from.

This sweet baby will be 18 months old tomorrow. What in the world?! (tear)

Easter Sunday

We had ONE busy day, therefore, a million pictures in this post. We got Harper out of bed this morning to show her what the Easter Bunny left for her.

Oh no! She's sad....
Just kidding! She LOVED all of it, especially the sidewalk chalk. She carried it around for a while like a purse.
Max said he wanted to be a pink bunny too.
We went to church, and she looked pretty cute in her Easter outfit.
Every year, Bodyworks has an Easter egg hunt open to the public. We decided to go to the 4th Street location (as opposed to the 82nd Street location). One: because this is the one I work at, and two: I figured it would be less crowded. Holy smokes. I do believe this is the most people we have EVER had in this gym at one time! It was insane!

This wasn't even all of them!
Getting pretty pumped up for her turn!
Waiting.....
And she's off!

She was trying REALLY hard to move this 25 lb ball. Ha ha!
After the gym, we went home to change and headed to my friend Rachel's house for another Easter egg hunt.
We forgot her basket, so she used Lucy's basket from her play kitchen. :)

When we got home, we decided to break out the sidewalk chalk.

Obviously, we had a wonderful Easter with friends and family. We are all exhausted! Harper was in bed at 6pm tonight, and I am not too far behind her.

Let the Easter Festivities Begin!

We had to leave the birthday party a little early to make it over to Papa's church for an Easter egg hunt and carnival! We got there JUST in time for Harper to find her some eggs.

LOVE this picture! (looking up at her Papa)
Aunt Alexa!
Not loving the bouncey
I DO exist!

Church and two more Easter egg hunts tomorrow! So exciting! I can't wait for Harper to discover all of the goodies the Easter Bunny left her and to see her in her REALLY cute outfit!

A Birthday Party!

Harper's friend, McKinley, turned 5! Her party was at Ready Set Go, and Harper had a blast! There were plenty of things to climb and jump on. She thought she owned the place.....

Taking a break on the trampoline

Harper's friend, Jaelyn! They are only 2 months apart.
The girls jumping
Both of them escaping to find some trouble to get into

She climbed up that thing all by herself!

Happy Birthday, McKinley! Thank you for inviting us. We had so much fun!

Chocolate Pudding

I obviously didn't learn from the pudding episode the other night, so I gave her some chocolate pudding this time. I think she liked it. Michael had already committed to giving her a bath that night, and he wasn't too happy after I gave her the pudding. Oops! :)

Harper's cute outfit

My friend, Tana, made this precious outfit for Harper for her birthday. It finally fits her! She looked absolutely adorable today!

Man, I love this little girl!
